I have a wealth of DJing experience, having held down residencies at a wide variety of venues in Oxford and London. I currently hold residencies at Verve and Loop in the West End, Living Room venues in London and Oxford, Thirst in Oxford, and Po Na Na in Oxford.I am able to adapt to a variety of different dance floors, whether it be playing pure party classics, rock and indie, funk and disco, current pop, reggae, house, whatever the party requires, I can tailor it to meet the needs of the event. I like to maintain complete communication with the crowd at all times, if they aren’t happy I'm not doing my job properly! I devised a concept for a request event, called ‘Jukebox’ in 2002, which ran successfully for 3 years at The Zodiac in Oxford. The idea behind the event was to give the opportunity for the crowd to select the music from a pre-ordained list that the DJ should play. Once the tune is selected, the appropriate video is played on a big screen (run by our sister graphics company) and the name of the person who selected is also displayed. Tunes ranged from hip-hop and funk through to house and rock, and it gave me good grounding in how to move between genres. It also helped me learn how to interact with the crowd."
